Partnership on display as Renault hosts the 2012 GRSP Annual General Meeting

People attending the Global Road Safety Partnership Annual Meeting in Spa, Belgium will see and hear first-hand how lives can be saved when the public, private and civil-society sectors work together to reduce road-crash death and injury. Being held from 1-2 June during Renault’s 2012 World Series auto event, the GRSP annual meeting is being hosted by Renault, one of its leading global partners at Hotel de la Source, Route du Circuit 22, B-4970 Francorchamps, and will include the following:

Renault launches first masters programme for road safety management in arab world

Thanks to Renault, a valuable partner of the Global Road Safety Partnership, the first Masters programme of its kind in Road Safety Management now exists in the Arab world. Through its corporate foundation, the leading automotive French group has partnered with the prestigious Saint Joseph University (USJ) in Lebanon to establish a Multidisciplinary Chair for Road Safety Management. "The road crashes rate is twice more in the region than in Europe”, affirmed Carlos Ghosn, Chairman and CEO of Renault-Nissan.

GRSP MENA's Road Safety Management Workshop

The Global Road Safety Partnership for the Middle East and North Africa (GRSP MENA), has the pleasure to announce its first workshop within the framework of the EU-MENA support programme. The event will be held in Brussels on the 22nd and 23rd of May, 2012.

Under the theme of "Road Safety Management", this workshop will bring together road safety practitioners and decision-makers from the Southern Mediterranean beneficiary countries to examine road safety issues and situation in their respective countries and to get practical tools for managing road safety and reaching their target.
